The newly introduced Nothing Ear Open has a unique appearance compared to the company’s other audio products, yet it retains its characteristic transparent design. In India, the Nothing Ear Open will be offered in a single White version, while the brand may release additional colours in the future. Pre-orders for the earbuds appear to be live on Nothing’s official website, but there is currently no information on availability through other retailers. This means the corporation may release this product slightly later because it is already available worldwide.

While the Nothing Ear Open lacks Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), it compensates with a Sound Seal System and directional speakers, which the company claims ensure only the user can hear the music. Other prominent features include pinch controls, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, Dual Connection, and AI Clear Voice Technology to improve call quality.
The Nothing Ear Open has an IP54 grade for water and dust protection, including the earphones and the charging case. Regarding battery life, each bud has a 64mAh battery, while the cover has a 635mAh battery. Nothing says that the earphones last up to 8 hours on a single charge, or up to 30 hours when used with the charging case. Non-Nothing smartphone users can download the Nothing X software from the Google Play Store and iOS software Store. This software allows for full functionality and customisation and supports Bluetooth codecs like AAC and SBC.
