In this article, we are going to discuss when, where, and how to apply for UP Super TET 2022 and also about its eligibility criteria, selection process, application fees, and all other important information about the exam.

This year Uttar Pradesh state government has announced to recruit around 17000 teachers around the state. For that, they have decided to conduct UP Super TET exam. The announcement for the UP Super TET has been done but the official notification for the exam has not been released yet. The official notification will be announced on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board.

The date of the start and end of the application process has also not been announced but all this information will be released in the official notification of the exam. Along with assistant teachers, this recruitment will contain post of Principal. In the selection process for the post of the assistant, a written exam will be conducted in different centers around the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The exam will be of 150 marks. For the post of principal, 2 different papers will be conducted. Paper 1 will be the same papers as for the post of assistant teacher.  Paper 2 for the post of principal will be another 50 marks. The syllabus of that exam will be totally different. Candidates can apply for only for each post but they can also apply for both posts.

Important Dates Regarding UP Super TET 2022:

Age Limit to Apply for the UP Super TET 2022: The minimum age to apply for the post is 21 years old and the maximum age to apply for the exam is 40 years old. Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to different category candidates. Here is the list of age relaxation in upper limit according to different categories. The Age Relaxation for:

• OBC Category Candidates – 3 Years
• SC/ ST Category Candidates – 5 Years
• PWD Candidates – 10 Years

Educational Qualification for the post of Assistant Teacher – A candidate must have completed graduation.

Educational Qualification for the post of Principal – A candidate must have completed graduation and also posses 5 years of teaching experience.

Exam Pattern of Exam for the Post of Assistant Teacher – The exam will contain 150 multiple choice questions which will be divided according to the 2 sections. Section 1 will be same for all the candidates but section 2 will vary according to the subject of the teacher. One mar will be awarded for each correct answer. 2 and half hours will be given to candidates to complete the exam.

Exam Pattern for the post of Principal: There will be 2 different papers for the post of principal. Paper 1 will be same as the paper for the post of assistant teacher. Paper 2 will contain 50 multiple choice question about educational management and administration. One mar will be given for each correct answer.  An extra one hour will be given to candidates to attempt paper 2.
